The Goethe-Institut in Dhaka is looking for an enthusiastic PASCH and German Educational Cooperation assistant on an hourly basis to start in July 2025. You will work closely with the PASCH and German Educational Cooperation Coordinator and assist with any tasks assigned by the Coordinator.
The task of the German Education Cooperation is to promote the teaching of German as a foreign language. We cooperate on projects, plan further training, organize events, provide teaching materials, advise teachers, create advertising material and provide information via the Internet.
As part of the German Education Cooperation, assistants are given the opportunity to:
- help design and implement activities for schools
- take on individual tasks and carry them out independently
- help plan and implement youth camps and events
What we expect from you:
- Interest in educational policy/pedagogical issues
- Willing to work with students
- Willing to work independently
- Willing to carry out routine tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Sufficient computer and social media design skills
- Knowledge of the German language is an asset
- Experience in project planning is an asset
